Far too many traffic lights in the US. You boy's need to embrace the roundabout Here mapping on Garmin devices recognises roundabouts!
Tell me about it... There're billions of traffic lights. Many intersections we have consists of over 10 lights hanging over a normal intersection. Some roundabouts do exist especially on the newly build intersections, but they're far and apart. Many Americans prefer the lights and the stop signs as they are lost when it comes to a roundabout. And don't get me started on the 4-ways stops we have many.

I was only poking fun. Though roundabouts do speed up traffic and crashes on them tend to be at low speed and at oblique angles. That said, when I was 22 in 1983 I had the misfortune to enter the roundabout in Paris at the Arc de Triomphe I went round it 3 times before I got off and still didn't get the correct exit.....think national lampoons!! Sorry off topic

Yeah, I've noticed it too. Around the arch there maybe 6 lanes of traffic and there aren't markers to know what lane you're in. It's a freeform, lol. Only Parisians know how to navigate it
